It's crazy I'm sitting here as we loom on a new holiday season and more importantly we venture into a new decade. The past ten years we have seen a rise and fall in the music industry! We seen 50 Cent, Rihanna, Beyonce', Gaga's, Chris Brown, Jigga Man, and etc; rise and fall around us. These last ten years the bizness has changed a lot. Gone are the days of radio requests and neighborhood stations but hello to iPods and internet streaming.
Some may ask what the state of the music business holds as we venture into 2011. I think it is going to be the best of the best! Jump on and get ready for some dope innovative things to come to life. Remember music is the perfect remedy in life. When you're down and life has you by the collar go to your album, CD or iTunes collection and put on your favorite song that makes you smile. I do know going into this New Year I expect to see the state of music to go back the glory days (I'm hoping) of great artists and lasting music. Here's to a New Year and great music on the horizon.
