Searching for R&B! Lucy Pearl-Without You

I just had a thought on this Sunday and my thought was where is R&B? I know we have so-called 'R&B' out there but I want to know where is the real deal? Lucy Pearl albeit the original group only put one album out (thanks Dawn Robinson!) but it was one classic album. A strong vibe of soul that you can listen to from start to finish.
